Methods of Joining

You can join Odyssey on-line through our registration form with immediate payment by credit card. You can also use the online form to pay by cheque by selecting the "I wish to pay by cheque" option on completion of the form. This will generate a booking reference for you. Please then send your cheque to the Membership Services address below quoting your booking reference. Alternatively you may download the paper version of the membership form (in pdf format) Here and send it with a cheque to:

Modifying your membership details

Once you book, you'll receive an email from the Odyssey membership system, confirming your booking. This will also include a link which you can click on to modify your booking details, if required. You can also request another copy of this email if you've lost the first one.

Booking hotel rooms

The booking form also allows you to book your hotel room at the same time. If you're considering booking a room in the hotel, we do recommend that you book it at the same time that you join; it's simpler, it helps your peace of mind, and you can always change the details later, if you need to.

We offer several different kinds of membership.

Refunds

We also offer refunds, up until the 31st January 2010. If you discover that you can't attend the convention after all, then you can get a full refund, less a £5.00 administration fee, until this date. So book early! You know it makes sense.

Other membership issues

Upgrading your membership

If you are a supporting member, you can upgrade to a full memberhip by following the link included in your confirmation email to edit your booking details online. If you change your booking to something that costs more (such as Supporting to Full), then you'll be asked for your credit card details to pay the additional ammount. At present you will not be able to pay for membership upgrades on line by cheque. If you need to pay for your upgrade by cheque please do not use the online form. Instead, please send details of the upgrade changes you require, togeather with your cheque to the Membership Services address given above.

What's this email I've received?

When your details are entered into the Odyssey membership system, you are automatically sent a confirmation email message listing your booking details. You'll also receive one if your booking changes. Keep the email, because it has a link in it which allows you to edit your details, should you need to do so.

How do I change my booking details?

If you've received a confirmation email from the Odyssey membership system, then you can follow the link in that email message to the booking modification page. If you've lost the email, don't worry - you can always get another.

If you don't have an email address, then you'll have to contact our Membership Services, and we'll get the required changes made for you.

I've lost my confirmation email!

Don't worry. You can ask the membership system for another one at any time.

I don't have an email address

If you don't have an email address - or if you haven't provided us with one when you first booked - then obviously, we can't send you any confirmation emails. Without that, we're afraid that you can't make any changes to your booking online. If you have any questions or need to make any changes, then please contact our Membership Services, and we'll do our best to help.
